Scope

In order to standardize the fire protection design of fine chemical enterprises, prevent and reduce fire hazards, and ensure personal and property safety, this standard is formulated. This standard applies to the fire protection design of new, expanded, and renovated projects of fine chemical enterprises, where the total volume of liquefied hydrocarbon storage tanks in the tank area does not exceed 300m3, the single tank volume does not exceed 100m3; the total volume of Class A and Class B liquid storage tanks does not exceed 5000m3, the single tank volume does not exceed 1000m3; the total volume of Class C liquid storage tanks does not exceed 25000m3, the single tank volume does not exceed 5000m3; and the total volume of flammable gas storage tanks does not exceed 5000m3, the single tank volume does not exceed 1000m3
