Main technical content: 4 Quality requirements The natural environment, cultivar, and cultivation techniques for jasmine flower production shall meet the requirements of the former National Quality Supervision, Inspection and Quarantine Administration's Announcement No. 145 [2010]. Flower categories are divided into two types according to different harvest seasons: spring-autumn flowers (spring and autumn flowers collectively) and summer flowers. Quality grades: - Bucket flowers should be mature, plump, and white, with no deterioration or contamination. - Bucket flower quality grades are divided into: First-grade, Second-grade, and Third-grade (rainwater flowers are directly classified as Third-grade). - Sensory indicators: - Color category: - First-grade: White or yellow-white, with gloss. - Second-grade: White, with gloss. - Third-grade: Greenish-white, with poor gloss. - Plumpness: - First-grade: Plump. - Second-grade: Slightly less plump. - Third-grade: Not plump. - Openness: - First-grade: In bud. - Second-grade: In bud. - Third-grade: In bud. - Aroma: - First-grade: Pure aroma, no odor. - Second-grade: Good aroma, no odor. - Third-grade: Low aroma, no odor. - Spring-autumn flowers: Pure aroma, no odor. - Second-grade: Good aroma, no odor. - Third-grade: Low aroma, no odor. - Note: There should be no white flowers, insect-damaged flowers, or green buds in any grade.
