GB/T 8366-2021 Resistance welding—Resistance welding equipment—Mechanical and electrical requirements

Scope

This document defines and specifies the specific electrical and mechanical performance of equipment used for the following resistance welding processes: -- resistance spot welding; -- projection welding; -- resistance seam welding; -- butt welding; and -- flash butt welding. This document specifies the technical parameters of the equipment and the methods for measuring these performances. Not all requirements apply to all types of equipment. Resistance welding equipment includes the following types: -- single-phase AC resistance welding machines; -- single-phase secondary rectified resistance welding machines; -- single-phase inverter resistance welding machines; -- three-phase secondary rectified resistance welding machines; -- three-phase primary rectified resistance welding machines (sometimes called inverters); and -- three-phase inverter resistance welding machines. This document does not apply to resistance welding transformers that are separate from the equipment. Note: IEC 621351 specifies the safety requirements for resistance welding equipment.
