Scope

This standard specifies the safety management of cold storage design, construction, and operation; the safety management of equipment, facilities, and supporting projects; on-site operation safety management; emergency management; and safety supervision and management. This standard applies to the safety management of cold storage facilities with a capacity of 5,000 cubic meters or more in Guangdong Province, which use ammonia refrigeration, Freon refrigeration, and other refrigerant systems for cooling. The safety management of cold storage facilities with a capacity of less than 5,000 cubic meters can be implemented in accordance with this standard.
