GB/T 10827.2-2021 Industrial trucks—Safety requirements and verification—Part 2:Self-propelled variable-reach trucks

Scope

This document specifies the safety requirements and verification methods for self-propelled industrial telescopic forklifts and telescopic container handlers/front-end loaders (hereinafter referred to as "vehicles") as defined in ISO 5053-1. Such vehicles are typically equipped with forks or integrated load-handling devices (such as container grabs, etc.) for normal industrial use.
This document does not apply to:
——off-road telescopic forklifts;
——off-road telescopic container handlers;
——machines designed primarily for earthmoving operations (such as loaders and bulldozers), even if their buckets and dozer blades have been replaced with forks;
——machines with loads that can swing freely in all directions.
In this document, forks and integrated attachments are considered part of the vehicle, while detachable attachments mounted on the load-carrying device or forks are not. However, this document also provides requirements for these attachments.
This document applies to machinery used under the manufacturer's intended use and misuse under foreseeable conditions, except for all major hazards, dangerous states, or dangerous events listed in Appendix B.
This document does not include the following potential hazards:
——during the manufacturing process;
——when used on roads;
——when operated in potentially explosive environments;
——when lifting people.
