Scope

This document specifies the model compilation method, technical requirements, test conditions, test methods, inspection rules, marking, packaging, transportation, and storage for lead-acid batteries, nickel-metal hydride batteries, and lithium-ion batteries used for energy storage in photovoltaic off-grid power generation equipment.
This document is applicable to lead-acid batteries, nickel-metal hydride batteries, and lithium-ion batteries (hereinafter referred to as "batteries") used for energy storage in photovoltaic off-grid power generation equipment. Batteries used for energy storage in wind power generation equipment and other renewable energy off-grid applications may also be referenced for use.
