GB/T 46982-2025 Photovoltaic devices—Procedures for temperature and irradiance corrections to measured I-V characteristics
Basic Information
Scope
This document specifies the temperature and irradiance correction methods for the actual I-V (current-voltage) characteristics of photovoltaic devices (also known as I-V curves), and establishes the procedures for determining the factors related to these corrections. The I-V measurements of photovoltaic devices should be conducted in accordance with IEC 60904-1 and its related parts. This document applies to the temperature and irradiance correction of the actual I-V characteristics of photovoltaic devices in general. Photovoltaic devices include monocrystalline photovoltaic cells with or without protective materials, photovoltaic cell strings, or modules. Different I-V curve correction-related parameters apply to each type of device. The determination of the temperature coefficient of a module (or cell string) can be calculated based on the measurements of monocrystalline cells, but for its internal series resistance and curve correction coefficients, they should be measured separately for the module or cell string. The use of I-V correction parameters is effective for photovoltaic devices that have been tested, but there may be variations among photovoltaic devices from the same production batch or of the same glass type.
