Scope

This document specifies the designation method, classification, and code for continuous hot-dip galvanized and zinc-iron alloy-coated hot-stamped steel plates and steel strips used in automobiles, as well as the order content, dimensions, shapes, weights, technical requirements, test methods, inspection rules, packaging, marking, and quality certificates. This document is applicable to automotive safety structural parts and similar applications of steel plates and steel strips with a thickness of 0.50mm to 3.0mm.
