GB/T 1456-2021 Test method for flexural properties of sandwich constructions

Scope

This document specifies the testing principles, testing equipment, specimens, testing conditions, and specimen state adjustment for the bending performance of sandwich structures, as well as the testing steps, testing results, and processing and reporting of the test results.
This document is applicable to determining the apparent bending strength and apparent bending modulus of sandwich structures when they are subjected to bending, the bending stiffness and shear stiffness of sandwich structures, the stress and elastic modulus of sandwich structure panels, the shear stress and shear modulus of sandwich structure cores, and also to determining the bending adhesive strength between sandwich structure panels and cores.
