GB/T 1815-2019 Determination for the bromine number and bromine index of benzole products

Scope

This standard specifies the terms and definitions, principles, reagents, equipment and materials, sample collection and preparation, test procedures, result calculation, and precision for the determination of bromine value and bromine index of benzene products.
This standard is applicable to the determination of bromine value and bromine index of crude benzene and light benzene recovered from coke oven gas, coking benzene and coking toluene obtained by hydrogenation and distillation, as well as petroleum benzene, petroleum toluene, and petroleum mixed xylene produced by catalytic reforming process from petroleum fractions.
