Scope

This standard applies to batch-produced containers that meet the following conditions simultaneously: - Design pressure is less than or equal to 1.6 MPa; - Design temperature is greater than or equal to -20°C, and the maximum operating temperature is less than or equal to 150°C; - Volume is less than or equal to 1.0 m3; - The product of working pressure and volume is less than or equal to 1.0 MPa?m3; - The medium is air, nitrogen, carbon dioxide, inert gases, water vapor evaporated from medical distilled water, or a mixture of these gases (vapors); - The medium is allowed to contain other components such as oil that do not significantly alter the medium's properties, but their flash point or ignition point must be at least 30°C higher than the container's maximum operating temperature and not affect the compatibility with the materials; - The structure meets the requirements of Clause 4.1.1.
