Scope

This standard specifies the technical requirements, test methods, inspection rules, marking, and information provided by manufacturers for rescue helmets.
This standard applies to head protection equipment used in rescue operations and related activities during industrial and mining safety accidents (such as roof collapse, sidewall collapse, and falls from height), road traffic accidents (highway traffic accidents and railway traffic accidents), and natural disaster accidents (such as geological disasters and meteorological disasters).
This standard does not apply to the head protection equipment worn by firefighters during firefighting and rescue operations.
