Scope

This document specifies the basic characteristics of refrigeration appliances for household and similar purposes that are cooled by natural or forced air convection internally, and describes the performance testing methods. Although this document describes some commonalities in the setup of different tests (therefore, it may be advantageous to conduct all tests on the same sample), these are separate tests used to evaluate the specified characteristics of the tested sample. This document does not stipulate a procedure for summarizing the test results of the sample into a prediction of the overall characteristics of the selected sample.
