Scope
This standard specifies the sample collection and preparation, testing methods, and result determination criteria for digital PCR detection of Candidatus Liberibacter asiaticus, the causative agent of citrus Huanglongbing disease. This standard is applicable to the inspection of citrus nursery seedlings and scions, as well as other reproductive materials; the rapid detection of citrus Huanglongbing-infected plants in the field; and the detection and identification of Candidatus Liberibacter asiaticus in Diaphorina citri, a vector of the disease.
