Scope
This standard specifies the liquid chromatography-mass spectrometry/mass spectrometry method for determining the migration of nonylphenol in food contact materials and products. This standard is applicable to the determination of nonylphenol in the migration test solutions of food contact materials and products using water, 4% (by volume) acetic acid solution, 10% (by volume) ethanol solution, 20% (by volume) ethanol solution, 50% (by volume) ethanol solution, olive oil, and 95% (by volume) ethanol solution as food simulants, or using 95% (by volume) ethanol solution and isooctane as chemical substitute solvents.
