Scope

1.1 In order to standardize the disposal and utilization of solid waste from iron mines, ensure quality, safe use, and prevent secondary pollution, these regulations are formulated. 1.2 These regulations apply to the disposal and utilization of solid waste such as topsoil, slag, waste rock, iron tailings, and iron-bearing waste rock from iron mines. They do not apply to the disposal and utilization of solid waste from other types of mines (rare earth, non-ferrous, chemical, nuclear industries, etc.). 1.3 The disposal and utilization of solid waste from iron mines shall comply with these regulations and the provisions of the current relevant national standards.
