Scope

This document specifies the dimensions and requirements for single-core aluminum conductor cables with a nominal system voltage of no more than 600 V AC or 900 V DC, and 1,000 V AC or 1,500 V DC.
This document is applicable to single-core cables for general-purpose road vehicles, and also to the conductors in multi-core cables.
