Scope
Scope: This document specifies the terminology and definitions for the storage of Pudan citrus fruits, fruit quality requirements, pre-storage, storage, removal from storage, and file management requirements. This document applies to the management of citrus storage by the Pudan and Lianzhou industry associations. Other social groups may voluntarily adopt these regulations in accordance with the association's provisions. Main technical content: 5. Pre-storage 5.1 Preparation of storage facilities 5.1.1 Facility and equipment maintenance: Before storage, inspect the safety and operational status of storage facilities, including but not limited to storage, water and electricity, fire prevention, and building structures. Repair any issues promptly. 5.1.2 Cleaning and disinfection: Conduct a thorough cleaning and organization of the storage area 5-10 days before storage. Subsequently, seal the doors and windows and disinfect the storage area using 0.1% sodium hypochlorite, or 60 mg/L-80 mg/L chlorine dioxide, or 20 mg/m³-40 mg/m³ ozone, in accordance with relevant national safety standards. Seal the area for 2-3 days, then ventilate for 1-2 days before use. 5.1.3 Humidity regulation: Adjust the relative humidity of the storage area to 85%-90% for 3-5 days before storage. 5.1.4 Temperature regulation: Reduce the storage temperature to an appropriate range 3-5 days before storage and ensure temperature fluctuations do not exceed ±1°C. For normal temperature storage, the temperature should be controlled between 4°C and 20°C; for low-temperature storage, the temperature should be controlled between 7°C and 9°C. 5.1.5 Ventilation: Ventilate the storage area 1-3 days before the first batch of goods is stored to remove excess carbon dioxide and other harmful gases, ensuring that the CO2 concentration does not exceed 1.5% and the oxygen concentration does not fall below 18%. During storage, timely ventilation should also be carried out based on monitoring dat
