Scope

This standard specifies the terms and definitions, product classification, technical requirements, test methods, inspection rules, packaging, marking, transportation, and storage of bidirectionally stretched polypropylene films for tobacco use (hereinafter referred to as tobacco films). This standard applies to heat-sealable bidirectionally stretched polypropylene films made from polypropylene resin as the main raw material and produced by co-extrusion and flat drawing followed by bidirectional stretching.
