Scope

This rule applies to gas cylinders (excluding fire extinguishing gas cylinders, respiratory gas cylinders, and non-refillable gas cylinders, etc.) used under normal environmental temperatures (–40°C to 60°C), with a nominal working pressure greater than or equal to 0.2 MPa (gauge pressure), and a product of pressure and capacity greater than or equal to 1.0 MPa. The gas cylinders are used to contain gases, liquefied gases, and liquids with a standard boiling point equal to or lower than 60°C. This rule does not apply to gas cylinders used in military equipment, nuclear facilities, aerospace vehicles, railway locomotives, ships, and offshore facilities.
