Main Technical Content: Guidelines for the Management of Sweet Cherry Flower and Fruit in Open Fields 1 Scope This standard specifies the technical measures for the cultivation and management of sweet cherries in open fields, including site environment, variety selection, shaping and pruning, pre-flowering management, flowering period management, fruit period management, post-harvest management, and pest and disease control. It applies to the stable, high-quality, and efficient cultivation of sweet cherry orchards in the southern part of Xinjiang with a tree age of over four years and a planting density of 834 to 1,250 trees per hectare. 2 Normative Reference Documents The following documents are essential for the application of this standard.
