Scope
This standard specifies the basic requirements, quality requirements, testing methods, and inspection rules for the quality evaluation of direct-connected high-speed centrifugal pumps for internal combustion engines. This standard applies to the quality evaluation of direct-connected high-speed centrifugal pumps for small gasoline engines with a rated power of not more than 5.89 kW and a rated speed of 3600 r/min or above, or for light-duty diesel engines with a rated power of not more than 11.03 kW and a rated speed of 3000 r/min or above (hereinafter referred to as pumps).
