GB/T 14048.11-2024 Low-voltage switchgear and controlgear—Part 6-1:Multiple function equipment—Transfer switching equipment
Basic Information
Scope
This document applies to transfer switch electrical appliances (TSEs) with a rated voltage of no more than 1,000 V AC and 1,500 V DC. The TSEs are used to transfer loads between power sources to ensure continuous power supply and manage energy consumption. This document includes: - Manually operated transfer switch electrical appliances (MTSEs); - Remote-operated transfer switch electrical appliances (RTSEs); - Automatic transfer switch electrical appliances (ATSEs). This document does not include: a) TSE configurations that have not been tested by the manufacturer and/or are not marked as complete transfer switches according to this document; b) auxiliary contacts (see GB/T 14048.5); c) transfer switches used in explosive environments (see IEC 60079 series); d) embedded software design (see IEC TR 63201); e) network security aspects (see IEC TS 63208); f) TSEs used for NE and HE type direct-start asynchronous motors (see GB/T 21210-2016) (see AC3e usage category in GB/T 14048.4-2020); g) other types of TSEs, including closed-loop transfer TSEs, neutral line overlapping transfer TSEs, and TSEs with load shedding functions. Supplementary requirements for these types of TSEs are under consideration. The control appliances (such as control switches) and protective appliances (such as circuit breakers) necessary for TSEs comply with the requirements of relevant national standards. Note: As described in IEC 60364-5-56, TSEs used for safety facilities and emergency evacuation lighting systems are subject to specific rules and/or legal requirements. The objectives of this document are as follows: a) Specify the characteristics of the appliances; b) Define the relevant conditions that the appliances must meet: 1) Intended operation of the appliances; 2) Operation and performance under specified abnormal conditions (such as short circuits); 3) Dielectric performance. c) Specify the tests and test methods to demonstrate compliance with
