Scope

Scope: This standard specifies the terms and definitions, production environment, cultivation techniques, selenium-enrichment techniques, timely harvesting, and file management for the cultivation of selenium-enriched lettuce. This standard applies to the cultivation of selenium-enriched lettuce. Main technical content: 5. Cultivation techniques 5.1 Variety selection: Select varieties with high quality, high yield, and strong resistance. The seed quality shall comply with the provisions of GB 16715.5. 5.2 Field management: Techniques such as cultivating strong seedlings, preparing the soil and applying fertilizer, timely transplanting, reasonable planting density, and fertilizer and water management, as well as pest and disease control, can be implemented according to local field management techniques. 5.3 Fertilizer application: Fertilizer application shall comply with the provisions of NY/T 394. 5.4 Chemical pest and disease control: Chemical pest and disease control shall comply with the provisions of NY/T 393. 6. Selenium-enrichment techniques 6.1 Principle of selenium supplementation: When the selenium content in the stems and leaves of lettuce produced naturally does not meet the requirements of GB/T 1135, selenium can be supplemented through artificial techniques. 6.2 Selenium fertilizers: Selenium fertilizers or selenium soil conditioners registered by the state shall be selected. 6.3 Supplementation methods: Leaf surface supplementation and rhizosphere supplementation. One or both supplementation methods can be selected according to actual production needs. 6.3.1 Leaf surface supplementation: Prepare a selenium solution with a concentration of 70mg/kg to 120mg/kg. Apply selenium once when the seedlings reach a height of 10cm to 15cm, and spray 230kg to 300kg of selenium solution per hectare.
