Scope

In order to ensure the quality of regular inspections of cryogenic insulated gas cylinders, guarantee the safe operation of cryogenic insulated gas cylinders, and prevent accidents, these rules are formulated in accordance with the relevant provisions of the "Regulations on Safety Supervision of Special Equipment", "Regulations on Safety Supervision of Gas Cylinders", and "Procedures for Safety Supervision of Gas Cylinders". These rules specify the procedures, basic methods, and technical requirements for regular inspections of cryogenic insulated gas cylinders. These rules apply to regular inspections of cryogenic liquid media such as liquid nitrogen, liquid hydrogen, liquid oxygen, liquefied natural gas (LNG), and liquid carbon dioxide within Guangdong Province. The cylinders must be made of steel and have a high-vacuum multi-layer insulation structure, with a design temperature not lower than -196°C, a nominal volume of not less than 10L, and a working pressure of 0.2MPa-3.5MPa, which can be refilled repeatedly.
