GB/T 21198的本部分规定了以钇为内标采用ICP光谱法测定钯合金首饰中钯含量的方法。 本部分适用于钯含量为475‰～970‰的钯合金首饰。 注: 钯合金首饰中可能含有银，铱，镓，铜，钴，镍，锡，钌。含有这些合金元素在测定过程中一般不产生干扰。
