GB/T 45159.1-2024 Mechanical vibration and shock—Characterization of the dynamic mechanical properties of visco-elastic materials—Part 1:Principles and guidelines

This document establishes the basic principles for laboratory measurement methods and data collection and analysis methods of the dynamic mechanical properties (i.e., elastic modulus, shear modulus, bulk modulus, loss factor, and Poisson's ratio) of common isotropic viscoelastic materials for vibration isolators specified in GB/T 45159.2~GB/T 45159.5. This document also provides guidance for the rational selection of various components. This document is applicable to isotropic resilient materials commonly used in vibration isolator design to reduce: - The transmission of vibrations in the audible frequency range to structures and the resulting fluid-induced noise (airborne noise, structure-radiated noise, etc.); - The impact of low-frequency vibrations on the human body, or the damage to structures and equipment caused by severe low-frequency vibrations; - The energy transmission of shocks and noise.

GB/T 41850.9-2024 Mechanical vibration—Measurement and evaluation of machine vibration—Part 9:Gear units

This document specifies the specific requirements for measuring and classifying mechanical vibration of individual enclosed gearboxes or gearboxes with speed-increasing or speed-reducing gears. It provides methods for measuring shell vibration and shaft vibration, as well as the types of instruments, measurement methods, and test procedures used to determine vibration values. It also includes vibration classifications for acceptance testing.
This document does not include the measurement of torsional vibration.
This document applies to acceptance testing of gearboxes operating within their design speed, load, temperature, and lubrication ranges at the manufacturer's facility. Upon agreement between the manufacturer and the customer and/or operator, this document can also be used to guide on-site acceptance testing and routine operation measurements.
This document applies to gearboxes with rated power ranging from 10 kW to 100 MW and rated speeds from 30 r/min to 12,000 r/min (0.5 Hz to 200 Hz).
This document does not apply to special or auxiliary drive systems, such as integrated gear-driven compressors, pumps, turbines, or gear clutches used between combined-cycle turbine generators and power output gears.
The evaluation criteria provided in this document can be applied to the vibration of the main input and output shaft bearings of gearboxes and the internal shaft bearings. These criteria can be used to a limited extent to evaluate the condition of the gears. This document does not include professional techniques for evaluating the condition of the gears.
This document establishes provisions for on-site broadband vibration intensity evaluation under normal stable operating conditions for the following:
a) Structural vibration measured radially (i.e., laterally) at all main bearing seats or bases;
b) Structural vibration measured axially at thrust bearing seats;
c) Radial (i.e., lateral) vibra

GB/T 41850.1-2024 Active

GB/T 41850.1-2024 Mechanical vibration—Measurement and evaluation of machine vibration—Part 1:General guidelines

This document specifies the general conditions and procedures for measuring and evaluating machine vibration on the rotating, non-rotating, and non-reciprocating components of the entire machine. This document applies to the measurement of absolute radial shaft vibration and relative shaft vibration during radial clearance monitoring, but does not apply to axial shaft vibration. General evaluation criteria include two aspects: vibration magnitude and vibration change, which are used for operation monitoring and acceptance testing. The evaluation criteria primarily aim to ensure the reliable, safe, and long-term operation of the machine while minimizing adverse effects on related equipment. This document also provides guidelines for setting operational limits.
Note 1: Other parts of ISO 20816 contain evaluation criteria for different types of machines. Chapter 6 of this document provides guidelines for evaluation criteria.
Note 2: Since measurements are typically conducted on the machine shaft in most cases, the term "shaft vibration" is applied throughout ISO 20816. However, if other rotating components are found to be more suitable, the ISO 20816 series also applies to measurements on such rotating components, provided that the guidelines are followed.
ISO 20816 considers operation monitoring as vibration measurements conducted during normal machine operation. ISO 20816 permits the use of different measurement quantities and methods, provided that these measurement quantities and methods are clearly defined and their limitations are pointed out, so as to fully understand the interpretation of the measurements.
Evaluation criteria only relate to the vibration generated by the machine itself, and not to vibration externally transmitted to the machine.
This document does not consider torsional vibration.
Note 3: For torsional vibration, refer to ISO 3046-5, ISO 22266-1, or VDI 2039.
