This document provides information on the goals and principles of social responsibility for publishing enterprises, basic practices of social responsibility, and core themes of social responsibility, offering guiding suggestions for publishing enterprises to fulfill their social responsibilities. It is applicable to book, periodical, audio-visual, and electronic publishing units, as well as other units engaged in online publishing services. When applying this document, it is recommended that publishing enterprises fully consider their own actual situations and conditions, such as their scale, nature, and industry characteristics. Other units engaged in content creation, printing, reproduction, importation, and distribution of publications may refer to and use it for reference.
