This document specifies the terms and definitions, principles, reagents and materials, instruments and equipment, sample preparation, analysis and determination, result calculation and expression, and precision for the determination of five selenium forms in agricultural products by high-performance liquid chromatography-inductively coupled plasma mass spectrometry. This document is applicable to the determination of the selenium content in agricultural products in the forms of selenite, selenate, selenocysteine, L-selenomethionine, and selenomethionine. The methodological quantitative limits for selenite, selenate, selenocysteine, L-selenomethionine, and selenomethionine in this document are all 0.005 mg/kg.
