This document specifies the definition, technical requirements, test methods, and marking of dedicated manual shut-off valves for gas-powered vehicles (hereinafter referred to as shut-off valves).
This document applies to automotive compressed natural gas (CNG) shut-off valves with a nominal working pressure not exceeding 35 MPa (all pressures mentioned in this document refer to gauge pressure), an ambient temperature of -40 ℃ to +85 ℃, and a working medium that meets the requirements of GB 18047, as well as automotive liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) shut-off valves with a nominal working pressure not exceeding 2.2 MPa, an ambient temperature of -40 ℃ to +85 ℃, and a working medium that meets the requirements of GB 19159.
