Abstract
This standard specifies the classification of residential trailers, the requirements for the whole vehicle, the requirements for specialized equipment and facilities, the reliability requirements, the test methods, and the inspection rules.
This standard applies to residential trailers towed by motor vehicles equipped with dedicated towing devices. Camping trailers used as permanent residences may refer to and implement this standard accordingly.
