Abstract
This standard specifies the basic principles and general methods for evaluating the characteristics of measurement instruments, and is applicable to the evaluation of the measurement characteristics of various types of measurement instruments, such as metering instruments, physical measuring tools, standard materials, and measurement systems. It is also applicable to the evaluation of the characteristics of measurement standards during the assessment of measurement standards.
