GB/T 21392-2008

This standard specifies the classification of ship types, statistical indicators, survey methods, indicator calculation, and energy consumption analysis for the statistical measurement of energy consumption in commercial ship transportation.
This standard applies to commercial motor vessels (including commercial motor vessels flying foreign flags) engaged in waterborne passenger and cargo transportation activities in China, and inland waterways for commercial motor vessels engaged in transportation activities on fixed waterways; it does not apply to river crossing ferries and recreational vessels engaged in leisure tourism in enclosed water areas.
