This standard specifies the structural form and technical requirements of standard orifice plates; the pressure-taking method, usage, installation and operating conditions, and inspection requirements of flow-restricting devices; and the calculation methods for the volume flow, energy flow, and mass flow of natural gas under standard reference conditions, as well as the measurement uncertainty. It also provides the necessary information for calculating flow and related uncertainties.
