GB/Z 24842-2009 Overvoltage and insulation coordination of 1000 kV UHV AC transmission project
Abstract
This guidance technical document specifies the measures to limit overvoltage in 1,000 kV ultra-high voltage AC transmission and transformation projects and the overvoltage levels after the adoption of these measures; recommends calculation and analysis methods for the lightning performance of overhead lines and substations; and provides principles, methods, and recommended values for determining the insulation level and air gap distance of equipment based on the insulation characteristics of 1,000 kV transmission lines and substation equipment and possible influencing factors, from the perspectives of safe operation and economic rationality.
This guidance technical document is applicable to the overvoltage and insulation coordination of 1,000 kV (with a system maximum voltage of 1,100 kV) ultra-high voltage AC transmission and transformation projects.
