Abstract
This standard specifies the determination of chloride in boiler water and cooling water by the ammonium thiocyanate titration method.
This standard is applicable to the determination of chloride content in natural water, boiler water, and circulating cooling water ranging from 5 mg/L to 100 mg/L. Water samples with a chloride content exceeding 100 mg/L should be diluted before measurement.
