This document specifies the qualification and assessment requirements for personnel engaged in lubricant analysis for machine condition monitoring and diagnosis.
The certificates or declarations of conformity in this document will provide proof of the personal competence and qualifications of machine condition monitoring personnel engaged in lubricant analysis in laboratories, but they are not applicable to certain professional equipment or other specific situations.
This document stipulates three levels of personnel qualifications, which are divided according to technical scope.
