This part of GB/T 15972 specifies the test methods for measuring the geometric parameters of fiber pre-coating layers, and establishes unified test procedures and technical requirements for measurement. This part is applicable to the measurement of Class A multimode fibers and Class B single-mode fibers, as well as the commercial inspection of finished fiber optic cables.
