Abstract
This standard specifies the requirements for the entry into service of SDH optical cable line systems with line rates of 155,520 kbit/s, 622,080 kbit/s, 2,488,320 kbit/s, and 9,953,280 kbit/s. This standard applies to SDH optical cable line systems in public telecommunications networks. Private telecommunications networks may also refer to and use it. Equipment entering service after the issuance of this standard shall meet the requirements of this standard.
