GB/T 17215.661-2018 Electricity metering data exchange—The DLMS/COSEM suite—Part 61:Object identification system(OBIS)
Abstract
This part of GB/T 17215.6 specifies the overall structure of the Object Identification System (OBIS) and maps all commonly used data items in measurement devices to their identification codes.
OBIS provides a unique identifier for all data in measurement devices, including not only measurement values but also the configuration of instrumentation devices or abstract data for obtaining the operating status of measurement devices. The ID codes defined in this part are used to identify:
—— The logical names of various instances or objects of the interface class, the definition of which can be found in GB/T 17215.662;
—— Data transmitted via communication lines;
—— Data displayed by measurement devices (see A.2 in Appendix A).
This part is applicable to various types of measurement devices, such as fully integrated electric meters, modular instruments, rate accessories, data concentrators, etc.
In order to cover other non-electric energy measurement devices and combined measurement devices that measure multiple energy types or have multiple physical measurement channels, the concepts of medium and channel are introduced.
Note: In EN 13757-1:2014, some non-electric data identifiers are defined for measurement devices: heat distribution meters, heat energy meters, gas meters, cold water meters, and hot water meters.
