GB/T 25117.1-2010 Railway applications—Rolling stock—Combined testing—Part 1:Combined testing of inverter-fed alternating current motors and their control system
Abstract
This part of GB/T 25117 applies to the combined systems consisting of electric motors, inverters, and their control systems on locomotives and vehicles. Its purpose is to specify:
——The performance characteristics of the electric drive system composed of locomotive and vehicle inverters, AC motors, and related control systems;
——The test methods for verifying these performance characteristics.
The combined systems are divided into the following two types:
a) AC motors powered by inverters (mainly auxiliary motors, such as cooling and ventilation motors), where there is no control between the mechanical output (torque, speed) and the inverter, and the motor can be regarded as operating with power supplied via a busbar (frequency conversion and voltage regulation or fixed frequency and voltage).
b) AC motors with controlled (parallel or non-parallel) connections between the mechanical output and the inverter.
The first type of system is tested in accordance with IEC 60349-2:2002 and IEC 61287-1:2005.
This part applies to the second type, mainly traction drive systems, as shown in Figure 1.
