GB/T 11024.1-2019 Shunt capacitors for a.c.power systems having a rated voltage above 1 000 V—Part 1:General
Abstract
This part of GB/T 11024 specifies the performance, testing, specifications, safety requirements, and installation and operation guidelines for parallel capacitors used in AC power systems with a nominal voltage of over 1,000 V.
This part applies to capacitor units and capacitor banks specifically designed to provide reactive power and improve power factor in AC power systems with a nominal voltage of over 1,000 V and a frequency of 15 Hz to 60 Hz.
This part also applies to capacitors intended for use in power filtering circuits. Additional definitions, requirements, and tests for AC filtering capacitors are provided in Appendix B.
Additional requirements for capacitors with internal fuse protection and requirements for internal fuses are specified in GB/T 11024.4-2019.
Requirements for capacitors with external fuse protection and requirements for external fuses are provided in Appendix C.
This part does not apply to self-healing metallized dielectric capacitors.
