Abstract
This part of GB/T 5170 specifies the inspection items of salt spray test equipment, the main instruments and requirements for inspection, the inspection load, inspection conditions, inspection methods, data processing results and inspection results, inspection cycle, etc. This part is applicable to the first inspection/acceptance inspection and periodic inspection of salt spray test equipment used in GB/T 2423.17 "Environmental Testing for Electrical and Electronic Products - Part 2: Test Methods - Test Ka: Salt Spray Test Method" and GB/T 2423.18 "Environmental Testing for Electrical and Electronic Products - Part 2: Test Methods - Test Kb: Salt Spray, Alternating (Sodium Chloride Solution)". This part is also applicable to the inspection of similar test equipment.
