JJG 795-2004 Withstanding Voltage Testers
Abstract
This procedure applies to voltage-resistance testers with a maximum output voltage of 15kV (hereinafter referred to as testers), including digital and pointer-type AC (power frequency) and DC voltage-resistance testers, the voltage-resistance parts of comprehensive safety performance testers, and the voltage-resistance parts of insulation voltage-resistance testers for initial verification, subsequent verification, and in-use inspection.
This procedure does not apply to testers with pulse voltage or audio voltage outputs, spark machines for wires and cables, and high-voltage testing equipment for electromagnetic compatibility.
