Abstract
This standard specifies the terms, order content, classification, category codes, and main parameters of beam-type lifting gear; its structure and models; requirements; test methods; inspection rules; marking; packaging; transportation; and storage.
This standard applies to beam-type lifting gear used under the crane hook (hereinafter referred to as lifting gear). Other beam-type lifting gear not specified in this standard may also be implemented with reference to it.
