GB/T 5169.47-2022 Fire hazard testing for electric and electronic products—Part 47:Guidance on the different levels of power and energy related to the probability of ignition and fire in low voltage electrotechnical products
Abstract
This document provides guidelines on the electrical power and energy classification that may lead to ignition and fire in low-voltage electrical products. It can be used by product committees to determine which fire hazard protection measures are available based on the electrical energy dissipated in the form of heat.
This document pertains to common products used in normal household environments and does not apply to products used in special environments, such as in explosive environments.
This document is intended for use by technical committees when preparing standards in accordance with the principles set out in IEC Guide 104 and ISO/IEC Guide 51.
One of the tasks of the technical committee is to use this series of standards where applicable when preparing standards in this field. Unless specifically mentioned or listed in the relevant standards, the requirements, test methods, or test conditions of this document will not apply.
