This standard specifies the general methods for protecting earthmoving machinery, the methods for removing protective items from earthmoving machinery and its components, and the categories of storage and transportation conditions for earthmoving machinery. This standard applies to newly manufactured earthmoving machinery and earthmoving machinery that has already been put into use.
