Abstract
This standard specifies the terms and definitions, product classification, requirements, test methods, inspection rules, and packaging markings for ship coatings that are harmful to humans and the environment.
This standard applies to various types of ship coatings used on ships constructed with steel, light alloys, fiberglass, and other materials as the main hull materials.
This standard does not apply to fire-retardant coatings for ships.
