This document specifies the technical requirements, inspection rules, packaging, transportation, and storage of molten salt used as a thermal storage/heat transfer medium in solar thermal power stations, and describes the corresponding test methods.
This document is applicable to the inspection, operation, and maintenance of solar thermal power stations where molten salt is used as a thermal storage/heat transfer medium. Other systems that use molten salt as a heat transfer/thermal storage medium may also refer to this document for guidance.
