Abstract
This standard specifies the terms and definitions, classification, technical requirements, test methods, inspection rules, inspection reports, packaging, marking, and delivery and acceptance rules for waterproofing elastomer (SBS) modified asphalt.
This standard applies to modified asphalt (referred to as SBS modified asphalt) made with styrene-butadiene-styrene (SBS) thermoplastic elastomer as a modifier, which is used in waterproofing membranes and coatings.
